This dressing recipe was a favorite condiment at one of my husband’s past restaurants. It was the “house” balsamic vinaigrette that is of course delicious on salad, but is also used in our bruschetta recipe and can even be used as a meat marinade.
It’s SO easy to make, and once you get used to eating it, the bottles of balsamic dressing at the grocery store just won’t taste the same.
This is all you need:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 clove of garlic crushed & minced, or 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp oregano or italian herb blend
Place all of the ingredients into a dressing bottle and mix well each time before serving.
