With the ongoing pandemic and continued warm weather as we shift from summer to fall, cocktails that are light, crisp and refreshing that also have immune boosting properties are the perfect choice.
I quite often hear people say that they want to eat cleaner and healthier, and for that reason I wanted to not only come up with low-ABV cocktails but also include liquids that are full of nutrients, thus the creation of the Awa, Ichigo and Green Juice. All contain Ketel One Botanical which has no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and no carbs. It is the perfect base for our low-ABV cocktails.
- 1.5 oz Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose
- 0.5 oz Aperol
- 1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- Fever Tree Tonic Water
Recommended glassware: Goblet, Wine Glass
Combine all ingredients except tonic into a glass of your choice, then top with tonic water and add ice. If you add the ice before tonic water, the carbonation will increase and you may run out of room to pour the amount of tonic to your liking. Garnish with grapefruit peel.
- 1.5 oz Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom
- 2large/4small Strawberries
- 0.75 oz Lemon
- 0,75 oz Demerara/Simple Syrup
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Cut the strawberries in half and muddle in a shaker tin with demerara/simple syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients and top with ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds and strain into a rocks glass. Top with ice and garnish with a lemon peel.
- 1.5 oz Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint
- 1 Kiwi
- 0.75 oz Lemon
- 0.75 oz Agave
- Fever Tree Light Cucumber Tonic
Scoop the inside of the kiwi fruit into a shaker tin, add agave and muddle. Combine the rest of the ingredients into the tin except the tonic, add ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass, then add tonic water to your liking and top with ice. You may use fresh mint as a garnish.
