If you’ve just made our Air-Fried Beef Spring Rolls and have leftover spring roll skins, I’ve got just the thing. All you need is some parsley and feta cheese!
Sigara borek is a popular Turkish appetizer that is similar to a spring roll but it uses phyllo dough. Phyllo dough is thicker and more chewy than spring roll skins, but these crispy little rolls are SO delicious I promise you won’t be disappointed.
You can make them the same full size as the spring rolls, I opted to make them smaller so we’d have more of them. I did this just by cutting the spring roll skins into smaller squares.
Here’s what you need:
- Leftover spring roll skins
- Feta cheese
- Parsley
- Your favorite cooking oil
- 1 egg
Crumble your feta cheese into very small pieces, and also finely chop your parsley. Using the same rolling tactic as the spring roll, use the cheese and parsley as your new filling. Reminder of how to roll them below:
Don’t stuff them too full or they will pop open when you cook them.
When you’re ready to cook, brush with oil and cook in the air fryer for about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
